ABOUT BOOMSLANG BASKETBALL CLUB: After finding there aren't enough great options for young girls to play fun, competitive basketball in the Fairfield/Westchester County area, Boomslang Basketball Club was developed to provide a dynamic opportunity to develop strong skills, solid fundamentals, desire to play hard on both ends of the floor and a positive environment for players striving to become the best all-around basketball player and teammate they can be!

Travel Teams - Spring 2024 Season Information

• PRACTICE AND GAME DATES FOR OUR UPCOMING EXCITING SPRING SEASON - COMING SOON!

Winter Season Runs: November 27, 2023 - March 3, 2024 with Monday/Friday afternoon practices @ YWCA Greenwich. Spring practices will also run on Monday/Friday afternoons from the middle of March to early June. 

• EXCITING GAME SCHEDULE UPDATE: Boomslang Basketball Club's Girls Travel program running this spring will be scheduled to compete in Zero Gravity tournaments around Fairfield and Westchester counties with over 200 teams competing in total competing all regular season long!   

• • Exact game times are typically announced once Zero Gravity releases our tournament schedule. The games will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays spread out over three months time. ​​​

    • Select games will feature the Club's very own play-by-play broadcast featuring professional play-by-play announcer and local Greenwich legend, Rob Adams! Boomslang Basketball Club is the only program in the area offering this fun element for the players, parents and fans of the teams to enjoy throughout the season. Broadcasts allow you to listen to select games even if you can't make it to the gym to see the game action live! 
  • All game times are announced as soon as they are provided by the League.

• • ​Please reference the Schedule page as we get closer to the start of the season for more information regarding game updates. Notifications will be sent to team members by email when match-ups are added to the team's schedule or if any practice adjustments are made. 

• Boomslang Basketball Club gives every player the chance to learn and further develop their basketball fundamentals while competing in a fun environment. All returning players photographed the season prior will receive a game-action poster featuring them competing from the previous season!
